Results Oriented Organization Culture

We observe, regarding our expertise in strategic advisory, that the main obstacle to a successful transformation comes from lack of consideration of cultural aspects. Our experience demonstrated that trying to impose a cultural change has a very narrow chance of being successful due to numerous and various types of resistance faced; rather than setting up a model designed out of the company, we prefer to consider the local culture as a relevant part of it, as part of its DNA. In order to improve performance and efficiency of the Organization, we choose to lead the culture to slightly adapt itself to raise up or stimulate the part focused on goal achievement. We call this move a  Results Oriented Organization Culture.

A ROOC is supported by:

  • Transparency, Trust and Goodwill atmosphere setup
  • Guaranteed results
  • Appropriate environment and provision of resources
  • Clear vision of objectives and everyone Commitment to reach them
  • Outcome quality (rather than process respect) control
  • Constructive disagreement prioritized over consensus encouragement
  • Failure considered to be an opportunity for learning and improvement
  • Removal of useless and incomprehensible actions
  • Analysis and treatment of all dysfunction

To facilitate the emergence of ROOC s’articule autour d’éléments de mesures (EM) tangibles et partagés suivant les règles suivantes :

  • Collective intelligence is a part of every step of SF creation
  • SF are built for each goal and linked to a transitional result
  • Actions to be triggered by the SF evolution are designed at the time of SF definition
  • Each actor interested in a particular SF value can contribute to its construction and improvement
  • All those concerned by or contributing to goal achievement can follow SF evolution
